For more than fifty years our company has been trading in medical devices on the Austrian market.

Shortly after World War II, Stefan Limbeck, the grandfather of today’s owner, founded a small shop for medical equipment in the centre of Vienna.

At that time, it was mainly the practising doctors of Vienna and its surroundings that were customers of the young company. To meet their needs the company offered medical devices for examinations as well as the full equipment for surgeries.

In the early 1970s, Günter Limbeck, the son of the founder, moved the premises from the centre of Vienna to a new building near Vienna Airport – a location which has been proving to be more and more important.

At the same time, our company started to focus on selected product groups: Surgical instruments for almost all disciplines as well as medical devices for sterilisation were added to the product portfolio. Also products following new trends in anaesthesia and intensive care were included.

This step from the all-rounder for medical devices towards a supplier of special medical devices has opened up a new market to us: clinics and hospitals.

In the following decades our company has seen constant growth.

Since the early 1990s, ownership and management of the company have been passed on to Richard Limbeck, the grandson of the company founder.

The portfolio has been continuously enlarged to include medical devices for interventional radiology, endoscopy, urology and gynaecology.

More and more customers from all over Austria put their trust in the steady quality of our products and service.

We are eager to continue in the future the way that has been so successful in the past.
